One of the most difficult issues that faces a low-lot size manufacturer (such as the tool & die, moldmaking, and job shops) is that no two parts are the same.  Each part that is loaded into a machine tool must have a unique NC program sent to the NC control in order to produce it.  This makes automating these applications more difficult than simply placing a robot or loader next to the machine tool and turning it on.  While many machine tools today have larger memory capacity, or even on-board hard drives for storing NC programs, they usually do not provide enough storage to hold a weekend's worth of NC programs.

Another issue is the fact that machining priorities for these manufacturers can change in an instant, making the need for an easily changeable system to control that machining process.

The ATI CellMaster software provides these benefits, and more, to help meet the needs of this market!      [LEARN MORE]
